I expect nothing this season but hope for a few good sales and some new faces for next season.

Realistically we need better players all over the pitch.

A surreal afternoon....

Swansea's fans were in full throat and made it seem an away fixture as they pressured us for 10 / 15 minutes...

We get a well worked goal and LR brightens up rangers fans

Looked at the championship table "live" at half time and we were 10th and only 3 points from Watford in 3rd....

Burnley and Sheffield United over the hills and far away... they will need a meltdown of last season QPR proportions not to get automatic promotion

Around the 70th minute, After we had an indirect free kick inside the box, Lowe had hit the bar and fluffed a tap in after a mistake by their defence and keeper ...

I turned to the old fellah next to me and said this has a nailed on 1 - 1 draw about it...

Then the equaliser and similar to the United game we were the ones hanging on and imo lucky to salvage a point....

It really is grim watching the team at LR at the moment....

Thankfully we're away for a couple of weeks and I will only look at score at fulltime.... I just don't care

The malaise of this season ( Beale the eel and the World Cup in November / December ) has run deep in me and to be honest I can't wait for the summer and the off season and care little which league we play in next season ....

Critchley has walked into a very tough job, but the football and performances have been pretty dire. Struggling to motivate myself to even go to Hull next weekend.

It says a lot when you hear one of QPR's most motivated supporters say that SM!

I'll support the R's till I die but at the moment perhaps there has been one false dawn too many, one managerial change too much and one player turnover too often for me to be able to feel one with the team.

According to his Wikipedia page Neil Critchley is one of only 16 coaches in the World with a UEFA Elite coaching badge.

I have to say, we are seeing precious little evidence of that. Things that could and should be sorted on the training pitch such as set pieces remain really, really poor.

They all need some fire in their bellies, and a massive kick up the back side (that should have been administered after Fleetwood). But the softly spoken, Mr nice guy Critchley doesn't seem to be on top of that one.

It's all same old, same old.

Making two substitutions in the 89th minute, is fine if you are looking to hold on to something. But at 1-1 we should have been looking to get the win as we were at home. The substitutions should have been much earlier, and surely someone with a UEFA Elite coaching badge would be able to see that.

Funnily enough the wise Dave McIntyre predicted Zenith’s comment soon after Neil was appointed

“ Said many times over years: guys with NC's personality type do not succeed at QPR, where culture has been moulded by big personalities/bullshitters. As soon as there's a dip, the perception is manager is uninspiring & can't motivate. And once that's set in, it's very tough.”

Personally I thought his post match interview after Fleetwood was anything but “Mr Nice Guy.”

Second half against Reading

I thought we were good at Preston, very good against Sheff Utd, pretty awful against Luton and Fleetwood. We were OK in the first half at Reading and good in the second half, and good for an hour or more on Saturday, but didn't take our chances. In a word, inconsistent, as was the case under Beale and Warburton. It would have been lovely if NC had come in and given us one of those mythical "new manager bounce" things that I hear so much about from fans of other teams, but it was always a forlorn hope really.

He's got no money to work with unless we sell somebody, and has a handful of loans inherited from the previous incumbent. There's understandable apathy and irritation after six home games without a win, but three of them were before he arrived,and until he's had some time to try and mould a squad that is recognisably his, I think he deserves to be cut some slack.

..It was so embarrassing that was not shown in any of the highlights....
...4 players all near the ball....so as soon as the ref blew all Swans players ran into that area....
they should have moved and spread around making hard to know who was taking it, passing it fast...
but you needed a plan that obviously nobody had..

Gordon Jago was a "nice guy". The club got an immediate bounce when he took over. We had been on a downward spiral and things changed immediately.

Under Beale we were top of the table with virtually the same squad. I agree that Critchley needs to be given time but how long?
