Listening to the commentary yesterday focussed around Chair’s loss of form and rediscovery of it in that match, I reckon most likely scenario is afcon did it.

Chair and Dieng didn’t automatically take their places back and they were both key members of the team in terms of being strong characters and important players.

Chair’s form being patchy since he came back has been a big blow. Just a theory but it seems plausible.

Injuries undoubtedly a big problem too. Even when we were flying we were pretty reliant on a bit of magic from either Willock or Chair.

I think he (Chair) played 30 minutes of the first game at the ACN, was subbed and then didn't get another kick. That would dent the confidence.

Well, even our own DOF has long since intimated it as such. I do wonder how long our partial (rather than collective) 'taking the knee' could or should persist...hopefully not as long as Leeds proclaiming themselves 'Champions of Europe'.

Anyway, I don't think it has much, if anything to do with our unfortunate 'cliff fall'. Today, I would just like to see us getting right behind the team and airing a fair few renditions of 'Warburton's Blue and White Army'.

We get it. You don't agree with taking the knee. You are however literally the only person I've seen suggest it's suddenly responsible for division in the squad. Based on what exactly ?

QPR players started taking it as a team when everyone else did 21 months ago, but stopped doing so as a collective a few months later, believing its impact to have been diluted. Ever since then, players have quite rightly had the option to take it or not do so. A matter of personal choice. Since that point, the team has had a great run of form across more than a calendar year, and a poor run for the last couple of months. Nothing around taking the knee has changed in that time. There's not a scintilla of evidence to back up your theory.

I'm surprised posters haven't seen how many football managers up and down the country have been sacked for allowing their players to take the knee. Warburton is clearly just another one.
