Liam Manning
Note that he is the favourite to take over and MK Dons have now been knocked out of the playoffs. Only 36. Risky.

We're also linked to James Rowberry currently at Newport County and he's only 37

....today's gossip is...:
Gary Rowett is the new favourite for the QPR managerial job – after his odds were slashed to 5/2.
The R’s hot seat has been vacant since Mark Warburton departed the club this summer after three years at The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
Now one bookmakers have Millwall boss Rowett overtaking MK’s Liam Manning as the new favourite for the role..

Re: Liam Manning
We’ve gone for Rowatt a couple of times over the last few years, so the board definitely have an interest in him.
I’ve always felt we would end up with Karl Robinson at some stage - but Manning appears to be the front runner.
I’m not sure any of the above are better than MW personally…

Re: Liam Manning
I can't see any current Manager of sound mind that would want to leave current employment to join us, they could quite easily be out of work before we start "Trick or Treating".
So, I would expect we would only be able to tempt someone who is currently out of work ( and probably desperate )

Rowatts stock has fallen since he was last courted by us....Giorgio wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 5:21 pm....today's gossip is...:

Did a Warburton (second half of the season collapse at Brum) and spent a shedload of cash at Stoke when they were relegated ( might actually account for their very high salary bill still as we took years to get everyone off the payroll from our last season in the Premier League )
Not for me thanks
2022/2023.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

No from me also, don't fancy him in the slightest. Eustace is probably my favoured option based on some of the names being banded about but who knows, maybe - just maybe - the club has an ace up its sleeveSystemsguy wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 9:45 amRowatts stock has fallen since he was last courted by us....Giorgio wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 5:21 pm....today's gossip is...:

Re: Liam Manning
Has it ? He obviously failed at Stoke, but since going to Millwall, they've finished 8th, 11th and 9th on one of the smaller budgets in the division. He seems to be one of those managers who works better with less money. I'm not saying I would want him, as his favoured style of football is certainly not possession-based, so I don't think he'd be a good fit for us, but he's certainly a good manager at this level.Systemsguy wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 9:45 amRowatts stock has fallen since he was last courted by us....Giorgio wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 5:21 pm....today's gossip is...:
