Photo uploading help required.

It had to happen. I finally need to upload a photo from my own machine and don't know how to do it. Advice please?

Use the attachments tab below the text box. make sure the file isn't too big.

Also --- I thought we couldn't do attachments. Or maybe that was the old site

If you find an image online you like, copy the URL address, paste it in the writing section, highlight it then use the IMG button. That'll make it so the file appears as an image.

More often than not any images I see on-line that I like are really only safe if downloaded directly onto a memory stick and hidden at a mate's house.

But there is the odd one or two that doesn't involve Katie Price, a selection of Doctor Who female companions and assorted kitchenalia so this information might, one day, actually prove useful.
