I am looking for a room in a share house for my daughter in London. Any help would be appreciated.
It is a sort of emergency as she had found one single room 3 weeks ago, she was supposed to move in on this Saturday and today the Landlord
called the deal off, with the excuse - in my opinion - of the boiler not working.
(Replacing it...? I did last month in my house, simply calling a plumber, who took 2 hours work and € 500.)
Well, the problem is the very short time left - she is starting her job on Tuesday, my wife and I are living in Dublin and daughter is in B'mouth where she completed her University studies.
Tomorrow morning I am flying to B'mouth and Saturday I have already booked a Van going to load all her stuff and move it to London...
The problem now is ...WHERE ??
We spent the whole day looking for something and still doing. Her work place is in Soho and the room she originally found was in Chelsea (argghhh
the Scum...confirming to be Scum).
I am also considering getting one week accommodation in Hotel thus allowing 7 more days of time to find something else.
