A question for those that were there... did facing the strong low sun have anything to do with Joe Lumley's error? He should have allowed for it, but, just asking...
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

No, it just looked like a lapse in concentration and an underhit pass.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

And may I add a one in a hundred hit from the Luton lad, any other day a player might get a quick shot under pressure from distance wrong & Lumley gets lucky.. unfortunately for us you won’t see a better more precise finish all season.

Lapse in concentration maybe but hardly an underhit pass. It was a perfectly weighted pass to the the Luton player

..well...the ball was much too slow to get to the intended receiver that I think was Barbet on the left.....
then the first mistake, may be coming from the overconfidence of being 3-0 up, was to venture so high out of his box....
I was thinking..."Where the hell is he going...??"

The pass was well directed to where Lumley thought Berbet was. Unfortunately by the time Lumley blindly passed the ball Berbet had inconsideratly moved forward. The speed of the pass had no bearing on the fact it went to a Luton player.
