Bonne to Ipswich on loan from various sources.
A season long loan now confirmed. That seems more like his level to be honest. Hope he does well there.

MW has said they’re looking at two or three more signings. I’m sure at least one of them will be a striker.

Although he's not an out and out striker, we've been linked with Jorge Grant at Lincoln who is said to be one of the best players in L1. He can play in many different positions but seems to prefer an inverted attacking LM role.

That seems likely given Bonne's loan move. (I think he's championship level but his finishing has been off, which might be about confidence as much as anything else.)
But we also need a goalkeeper if Kelly is leaving, and we are hoping to get Johansen in.
So 2 or 3 wouldn't leave much room for full backs or wing backs. Maybe that's taking "2 or 3" too literally, though.

Parker leaving Fulham in the next 24-48 hours. I think this will end our hopes of signing Johansson for now. Maybe once Fulham have got a new manager and evaluated the players might we be able to sign him but I think it's unlikely.

Johansson would probably prefer to stay at Fulham with a new manager than come to us.

I'd say you're probably right there. Seems a strange move for Parker, given he signed a three year contract only last September and got Fulham out of the Championship last time around. Surprised at West Brom going for Ismael too.

I guess that might depend on who gets the job.

I hope not. He enjoyed his time at QPR and as with Charlie enjoyed his football once again. Still possible I think.

Grant has signed for Peterborough today, so that’s another one crossed off the list.

Chucks Aneke signed for Brum the other day, so that closes that one off.

We were linked with Josh Windass, but they've set a £5 Million valuation for him which is laughable.

I don't think we will sign another striker. There's Dykes, Austin and Kelman in a squad that, as I think has been said already, often plays with one striker. Also, Willock played as a second striker on numerous occasions last season, and I see the lesser spotted Ramkilde is training with the first team squad.

Cheers DM. Don't bother with all the youngsters as most of them don't make it anywhere around the first team
