I am for one! Discolouring the shorts, drowning Jude in a dirty canal, and making over the badge really brings it home that nothing is sacred when money and football get it on together. Immeasurably grateful (and otherwise seriously excited) as I am for Bernie and Flavio having saved our sinking ship, being an Rs fan right now feels a bit like the lurching sensation in your stomach when a rollercoaster teeters at a great height above the ground. Along with the appropriately named C Club (which effectively shrinks our already limited stadium capacity still further) I do think it's the thin edge of the wedge for supporters and it does make me fear what other 'rebranding' initiatives are in the pipeline.
It also makes me wonder just where (if anywhere) the new owners would stop in setting the coordinates for Planet Premiership. Ditching the Hoops? Ditching the ground? To sum up, I feel thrilled, but also slightly frightened.

first of all the jude outfit has been given to an animal shelter to use as they see fit.
Secondly and i was even contemplating starting a seperate thread about this, the people who feel that the change from Jude to spark is in someway 'selling' our history are just wrong. the black cat has f all to do with qpr's history, you can bet as many away fans were confused by that being the mascot as they are with a tiger! why did we have a cat? er.......because about 15 years ago they happened to have an actual black cat at the stadium as an office pet! No other massive connection, its not are nickname, just someone in the office had a penchant for cats! fair enough the name had a link to qpr history, and perhaps they should have given the tiger a name like that (hoopy perhaps) instead of this lame queens park rangers, but to be honest tiger, cat, dog, big bloke with a football for a head, none of it has anything to do with the club

Not a very important thing to get hot under the collar about I say!
Let's have more of those cheerleaders - especially greeting fans at the top of the stairs of the Lower Loft as they were last Saturday. Nice!
