Any good football conversation has a mixture of plainspeaking sense and humorous asides, analysis and wit. They go together, they are codependent, needing each other for emphasis and variation. That's the mixture that made this board work. Splitting it up like this just to stop a handful of in-jokers strikes me as bizarre.

And I think history will tell us there is no surer way to kill all fun by designating a 'fun area', and telling everyone to make it 'buzzin'. I think you've misjudged the temperament of innovation there.
