From start to finish we bossed the game in all areas of the pitch.
For me the defence was superb all 5 of them and it was this that gave us the base to win the game comfortably.

Its now clear Ramage is a CB and nothing else. I have been one of his biggest critics this season but today I will say he was superb at CB.
He looked a different player and him and Gorks were solid all afternoon.

Legs going to RB worked very well he had ambrose in his pocket and the new lad Tosic had a dream debut I thought he was immense.
He won tackles looked big and was strong in the air and he made a lot of offensive runs down the wing supporting in attack - he looks a v gd prospect on that showing.

Buzacky starts and buzacky scores not a surprise to me I am a fan of his and have not understood why he has been left out so often under warnock.
He played alongside Faurlin and took his goal with quality not many in this league have.
I was also a little shocked to see him get so stuck in and work so hard , he really put in a shift and thats not something he is known for.

Faurlin was once again superb the level of consistency of his performance is outstanding! I have not seen him have a bad game.

Priskin Simspon and Hogan were all effective with mention to priskin who has taken a lot of stick from many myself included he looked a threat yesterday and nearly scored a great goal after twisting up the palace left back.

Our support was great yesterday v noisy throughout the game , cant believe the beer ran out at half time! it left a lot of us bemused and annoyed! $hit ground no beer chants rung out!

all in all a great day to be a Ranger we left the ground jubilant and proud once again... now lets enjoy the rest of the season.

Maybe Ramage has been a model professional this season. Despite being played out of position - and having taken a lot of stick in that position - he's just go on with it with no complaining. Well, none that we've heard about - so if he has complained about it, he's done it to the right people. I quite like what I've seen of the bloke.

And as to Buzsaky ... I won't hear a word said against him. Legend.

Looked like it was Priskin who laid off the ball for Buzsaky's goal.

Nah ... it was a scuffed shot.

Agreed Don Ramage is clearly a model professional and I salute him for that. Also good to see his passion and respect for the fans after the game yesterday he was the 1st to come over and throw his shirt into the crowd.

He could and I state could become a contender for club captain if played at CB.

I was glad that Ramage got the chance to show he is, what many have said before, a centre back. Shame about the circumstance, but credit to him once again for getting on with it. I think he is a good professional, and perhaps some will now give him a break. Also he seems to care and that can be infectious!

Maybe it prove that centre backs can also be good as defensive midfielders or even up front but just never make good FBs. And that includes Matt Connolly.

It could make for interesting team selection next season.

As I said the other day, Ramage said last week that he was a CB, only played a few games at RB for Newcastle. Dowie was the one that wanted him to play RB.

I assume this was Paladini's idea but we have signed a succession of centre backs and played them at full back - Delaney, Ramage, Connolly and even Legs started his career as a centre back.

If you start life as a centre back as Ramage did then pace and crossing are unlikely to be amongst your assets, so you are likely to look bad at right back.

Ramage must have played well yesterday because I didn't notice him. He dealt with everything that came his way calmly. I'd like to see him play centre back against a better attack and see how we copes - Cardiff should present a bigger challenge.
