Nick Clegg says people should not "write off" the Lib Dems.
They finally got a toe-hold in the system and totally fcuked it up just for the sake of the political vanity of their leaders.
They've surely written themselves off (at least for most of our lifetimes). |

It all goes to show that people actually do want principled politics, rather than the pragmatism of the Blair era. Cameron's trying to be principled with his Big Society idea, but no one buys it. Clegg wouldn't know a principle if it hit him in the face.

You're on yout own believing that DM. Cameron has no principles other than to follow Tory dogma.

That's not like you Don, putting words into other people's mouths. I'm guessing he meant Cameron doesn't appear at all principled - including all its synonyms: decent, ethical, honest, just, noble, honorable, respectable, righteous, stand-up, upright, upstanding etc |

No it doesn't, his policies have been judged independently as resulting in a greater burden on those with the greatest need. His selling off of the last bits of the public sector that any money can be made out of, and only those bits, in amongst the college & university courses, the health service etc to his mates and his attempt at selling off the forests is unethical whatever your prejudices.
Not that the other lot are any better. |

Is it not principled and ethical to look after those who voted for him, IE Tory voters? |
