Sod you all. How our season goes has no bearing whatsoever on how much I'm enjoying the destruction of Chelsea, and our part in it. _________________

This bizarre intense hatred for all things Chelski that some of our fans have is beyond me, it really is...
The envy seemingly shown of the silverware gained since RA's takeover that is derided as "bought" and not earned fairly....
Yet when T&C wandered in to town, the self same fans wanted us to BUY the same silverware instead, flash the cash and the "WE'RE RICHER THAN YOU" banners at the bridge in 2008....
NO.... I MUCH MORE CARE ABOUT THIS CLUB AND IT'S FUTURE....
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! _________________ 2013.... Keep Calm, nobody died and no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

I doubt I'm the only person who holds back a days leave each year in case I need it to piss on the ashes of Stamford Bridge.
And having been raised near there - slightly south in fact - but still north of the river, I do consider them a west London club, Deepsea!
But they are lower than a rattlesnake's belly in every way. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

Behave! there's a flipping great river in the way. And we have to be a bit careful as we're in the same borough.
If I hadn't lived off the Wandsworth Bridge Road, I'd agree with you though. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

Come Now DSH, dont let post codes fool you. They are definitely WEST London neighbours. Westminster is in SW1 and you wont find many cabbies refusing to go there.
The feeling I have for them is f all to do with the Russian. It is in my DNA. |

Precisely. I don't envy them, I loathe and despise them. But, as Systemsguy points out, the people who were worshipping T&C were almost as bad. I expressed my concerns about them from the start but was desperate to be proven wrong. Oh well. But some of our fans did show a Chelsea-like tawdriness. Whilst some old-school Chelsea fans are not happy with what their club has become. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me!

i think most fans who knew how close to folding we were, greated T&C with relief and not a lot more. I don't think we ever got near Abramobitch style dreams. _________________ Crying won't help you praying won't do you no good |

huh?
A Chelski match I remember for various reasons....
One of them being the 6 - 0 scoreline to us!
I remember it was a lunchtime kickoff on Easter Monday, which was unusual in 86....
A Chelski fan had been stabbed to death at Birmingham the previous week and a two minute silence took place that was intensely observed by both sets of fans (I think I heard a dog bark in the distance)...
Almost a detente took place that day as I remember vividly the Chelski fans writing somewhere not long after how they appreciated our respect for that fan that day...
Also...
I remember the days before databases and proper season tickets came into place etc when the likes of Chelski and the other London clubs took over the Loft with impunity!
Those were days.....
and damn well glad there gone! _________________ 2013.... Keep Calm, nobody died and no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

After drawing 1-1 at home to Birmingham in the FA Cup ... Andre Village Idiot has declared he has the "unconditional support" of Roman Abramovich ...
Well, lose the replay, and lose to Napoli in the Champions League, and you might find Roman has a different interpretation of the term 'unconditional support' to you.

Well said Damien...clearly he wasn't battered at school by the thugs who outnumbered us....or had his scarf stolen on the E1 or the E3...or questioned about what team he supported as he walked into a pub and got a slap just for hesitating....or been ambushed on the terraces in the Loft....or had the crap kicked out of him after they steamed onto and across the plastic pitch ....cos I did....(but I'm over it now honestly) Hated them then....hate them now....hate them always! |
