Good result for your lot just now. Is that why you came on here to make yourself feel a bit better?!

If you like depressing places so much you could just go down the road to Hunstanton.

You must have been wrapped up in cotton wool until 16 and fed with a silver Harrods spoon if you think that Hunstanton is in any way depressing, could have used a decent example, like Great Yarmouth.... which is actually really depressing.

You're right, this doesn't look depressing at all.

That's nothing, the first time I went to Loftus Road I saw three white kids 9 or 10 years old outside the ground with no shoes on their feet in near freezing temperatures, filthy rags on their under nourished bodies, asking Norwich fans for 10p for the guy fawkes. They didn't even have any adults with them, poor bastards.

Seeing as I was about the same age, I gave them my pocket money, all of it, and thanked my lucky stars that I didn't have to effectively be an orphan in a slum. True story. My first memory of Loftus Road.

Londoners can only hope and dream that they retire with enough money to buy a nice big home in Hunstanton:

Just paying the mortgage on your ex-LA would probably give you enough of course Smile

See you when your 65!!

Laughing stock of football, so much so that everybody has forgotten that your most famous fan is a junkie who wrote a couple of good tunes in 2001.

Yeah me too. I'm not sure how boring your life must be if, when on a trip to Edinburgh, you can still find time to go on another football team fan's message board and try and stir them up?!

I mean, I can understand if someone was on holiday in Norfolk say...

Stuck in a travelodge in Edinburgh for the thirty thousandth time, what would you be doing?

Obviously spending your Sunday on an internet forum, whilst not being stuck on a business trip, is infinite times more cool?

Thought London was the greatest city on earth? If that's the case, what the f are you doing on the internet on a Sunday? Pot calls kettle black Smile

With 144 posts in 3 weeks, you can't have too much excitement in your own life fella, I make that 7 a day.

I am on the site of a team I support though, that's my point.

Bobby Charlton & George Best? Or have you set the bar remarkably low for qualification?

Yes, we might go down. Big deal. 15% of the division gets relegated each year.

But if you're in Edinburgh, get thee to the Oxford.

I think there are some unresolved issued to be addressed here; the story of the first trip to Loftus Road is a pointer. Was your granny raped on her death bed by a cockney who used her guide dog as a condom? Only something so harrowing could occasion this almost fatal attraction to our lowly little West London club.

Weirdly, I also remember those kids in no shoes who used to hang around outside LR around the 5th of November. They actually did it every year in between starring on stage in the West End version of Lionel Bart's 'Oliver'!

I was reliably informed by my cousin who used to live on the Wormholt estate, that two of the scamps now run multi national companies, and the third regularly appears at the Theatre Royal, Stratford!

There's good old London enterprise in action for you Lejuge! Oh, and thanks for the 10 shillings it went on 20 Rothmans, a mars bar and a bottle of Tizer!

Hey LeJuge. Your team wears a kit of diarrhea sludge colour. Are you proud of that? On the football front, it needs to be made clear that many of us don't actually give a scheiser about being in the PL. It seems to attract plastic players and plastic fans. The fact that your diarrhea side is doing ok this season is a flash in the pan. come next season you will be crying like the plastic Geordie you are.

Obviously we are all worried about when it is that he plans to leave. We hope that, like his mentor Martin O'Neill, he will tend to stay five years at each club rather than jump at the quickest opportunity.

Given his track record this seems like wishful thinking.

2005–2006 Livingston
2006–2008 Wycombe Wanderers
2008–2009 Colchester United
2009– ? Norwich City

I think Lambert has a lot of integrity.

Colchester fans might think otherwise.

Villa haven't got shed loads of cash floating around, it would be a bit of a sideways move.

I'd be much more concerned if Dalglish was asked to move on in the summer. I don't think Lambert is the type to jump to the next slightly bigger club who offer him a job.

I wouldn't be so sure. He's already made a few sideways moves and managed his respective clubs above their level. This is the same Aston Villa that spent £20m on Darren Bent and £10m on N'Zogbia in the last couple of years. I think he'd find it difficult to turn down the job.

LeJuge, I sincerely hope Norwich fans enjoy their 15 minutes. Wink
