Let's hope he is back for this weekend, consistently solid performances from him and can push Onuoha back into the centre.

LUKE Young will be assessed this morning ahead of Saturday's crunch clash with Everton.

The QPR defender has been sidelined with a hamstring injury after limping out of the home loss to Wolves a fortnight ago.

But boss Mark Hughes is hopeful the right-back will be able to resume training today with the Toffees' visit to Loftus Road just around the corner.

Meanwhile, the Welshman played down injury fears surrounding defender Taye Taiwo after he was withdrawn during Saturday's derby defeat to Fulham.

Hughes revealed the Nigerian was suffering cramp, and will join in sessions with his team-mates at the club's Harlington training base today.

Agree. Onuoha hasn't looked match-fit since joining. Luke Young may have been a bit suspect in some games but is much better going forward and will lend some much needed support to SWP, Mackie etc.

Onuoha looks a class above all of our other defenders - if he's not fit, he's going to be one hell of a player when he is. I haven't been all that impressed with Taiwo - much prefer Triaore - his pace on the left is a real threat - it was noticable how much quicker we were breaking forward on Saturday once he came on.

Yep got to agree. I much prefer to see Triaore play left back than Taiwo. Not only because of the threat going forward but I rate him a better defender as well.
