Looking as Newcastle's example, which I didn't fully understand at the time, I'd say bye bye; but I would also say a big thank you.

I agree some of the criticism has been over the top but nonetheless I voted get rid of. However I don't see how that can actually happen given he'll miss so many games at the start of the season, who would have him right now? Perhaps in the January window, he's a decent enough player I'm sure someone will come in for him if the price is right.

If it was solely down to me, I wouldn't mind if he stayed. If he ever plays again for us, I'll be surprised, but I'll suport him.

However, I think we are past the point of no return for him now with the majority of the fanbase. He could come back after his ban, boss the midfield, say the right things, keep his nose out of trouble and he still wouldn't get the fans onside. I concede that all that happening is unlikely.

Rightly or wrongly, he now has no future at Rangers. And of course thats all his own fault - I am in no way trying to pin anything on the fans at all. He is a grown man and responsible for his own actions, and he has failed considerably in that regard.

So in the best interests of the club, which is of course the most immportant thing, he should be moved on if possible.

I'll wait until MH makes his decision on Joeys QPR future

What I would like to say

I don't doubt his passion

But having behaved in such a way
In a potentially crucial game for our season

I was appalled at his apparent lack of remorse

And the fact he even tried to defend his actions

Joey should do his talking on the pitch, but not with his elbows knees or headbutts

Whether that's wearing a Hooped shirt next season will be up to MH and the Board

I will support what ever decision they deem fit

Whether he is a QPR player or not, we know he will not be playing for QPR at the start of the season or until November.

According to The Standard he will not be in the squad and will be moved on in January.

Realistically we need a decent midfield from day one. Hughes is likely to get someone in who can do the job in midfield - we can't sit back for 12 games waiting for Joey to come back.

He is simply unsaleable right now because of the publicity around the sending off (although big Sam might be tempted). However give him a few games up to January and there might be a few takers. Memories are short and lets face it Joey is a bit of an amateur on the red card front - he's still 3 behind Viera, Richard Dunne and Duncan Ferguson and two behind Roy Keane.

Players like Keane, Ferguson and Vinnie Jones were all in demand in their day despite being sent off more than Joey and basically being thugs - Keane even admitted deliberately trying to seriously injure an opponent. In the end if they are a good enough player, some manager somewhere will think 1. he can tame them and 2. he's going to get a bargain. If we want to, I don't think we will have a lot of trouble selling him in January 2013.

The problem is the wages. If he's getting as much as we are told, there are few clubs that could afford to pay, even if he was a terrific player and a real steady guy - which he emphatically is not on both counts. If we have to buy out his contract, he will go down as the most disastrous signing QPR have ever made, eclipsing Sheron, Hateley and Jones

Yes, i would like him to stay as i think he is a good player, although it is very tempting to ditch him and replace him with Jenas......not.

With Faurlin still getting back to fitness and Samba D still not signed on,our midfield looks thin.Although I'm sure QPR?Hughes will be addressing this.

However, i totally agree with many points made by fans about the image he is giving out, although again and even up till the end of last season...it has not been that good over past x years anyway. Many fans thought it was a disgrace the way Warnock was sacked....forgotten already as Hughes kept us up( or maybe Stoke did..)

I would imagine there would have to be some assurances from barton to the club that this sort of incident will never happen again.

I want him to stay, but i truist the new board and management team and will obviously back any decision they make.

This is a 'watershed' moment for Joey Barton, and I believe it will either make or break him. I also believe that Mark Hughes will have the final say because Fernandes trusts him, if Hughes believes he can come back a changed and better player then he will be here next season, if not then it's ta'ra chuck!

I don't think that Barton, unfortunately, is able to give assurances about his conduct as he isn't really in control of himself.

I would like to think you are wrong, but i fear you could be right.Fans are very much divided by this and I think it important for us to talk about in a civilised enviroment.

The thing that literally damages QPR's image is that shite thin hooped kit, shite orange kit and stupid badge.

Why don't you tweet Uncle Tony and PhilB with your complaint?

I heard they love hearing about such important issues from the fans.... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Peasoup made a point about Joey keeping Chelski off the back pages which goes to prove bad news sells more papers than good news and I am certain that Joey will only be producing newsworthy copy of the first type. I would much prefer he was doing it at another club and let QPR get back to playing football and striving for honours.

Just a thought, but is it really objective if the two options are 'Yes' and 'No. Get rid.?!

His back stabbing of Warnock did it for me. All events afterwards only confirmed that he is not the type of person I as a QPR supporter want to be a associated with.

As a footballer I think he is mediocre at best. Not worth all the hassle and negative vibes this club is getting. Nice try but move on please.
