I qualify as a nurse hopefully in 7 weeks and I have my first interview in Oxford  I'm nearly there guys!

Good going! I've decided at the age of 26 that I would like to retrain and become a nurse so I may be coming to you for advice

It's that or midwifery. I was my sister's birthing partner when both my niece and nephew were born. Have you enjoyed it?

Oh yes I remember you posted about this on here! I'm going to be honest there have been many time I wanted to quit. There have been many highs and many lows. It's a bloody tough course due to being on placement plus having to do university work. I am so glad though i stuck with nursing. It's so rewarding! It has now gone to degree only as before it was both diplokma and degree. I am on the diploma side and I will have to at some point top my diploma to a degree other wise i won't be able to further my career I would be stuck as a band 5 for the rest of my life which I don't want to be.
