Well I went to the Olympic Park for the Paralympics on Wednesday. I watched the Swimming in the morning and the athletics in the evening. The Aquatics centre is a beautiful venue. The whole park was really happy ( I wish it was like this all the time in the world) and the atmosphere was electric. The Volunteers were so friendly and helpful. The athletics stadium is really impressive.
I had a fantastic experience at the paralympics. In fact I have enjoyed these games more than the Olympics. These athletes are amazing and a joy to watch. I will never forget my day and it's a shame it all ends tomorrow.

Good post Cait, glad you had a good time there.
I haven't seen as much of it as I would have liked, but each and every indidual that took part is a credit to their country and real inspiration for all people.
Fair play to them, I'm glad it received as big an audience as it did. _________________ Isle Of Wight R'ssssssssss |
