I like Harry, and I hear he is quite a good football manager.

Having said that very happy with MH right now, I can see us top 8 come eos.

The irons will get hammered, as will I tonight.

He would be toxic for our club. cf Portsmouth F.C.

We've only played a handful of games Stan, no need to panic yet. As others have pointed out in those games we have played two teams who can claim to be 'Champions' even if we don't agree.

As for Hughes leaving for a better offer? At the moment that is not going to happen, so no worries there. If the 'plans' come to fruition - we'll be playing in a brand new stadium, with brand new state of the art training facilities, and a chairman who has backed his man, and made significant funds available. Hughes or any manager would be a fool to walk away from that.

I am not in the least bit worried at the moment - frustrated, but not worried. We will finish mid table, and once the team 'clicks' someone is going to get a 'hiding! Then you'll wonder what you were worried about.

I met a fairy today who granted me one wish.
"I want to live forever," I said.
"Sorry," said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant wishes like that."
"Fine," I said, "I want to die when QPR win the premier league."
"You crafty errant hedge-born skainsmate!" said the fairy.

Be interesting to know what the pro Hughes posters expect points wise under his leadership in October?

WHU H
WBA A
Everton H
Arsenal A

Would hope that a minimum of five points (3 pts WHU, 1pt West Brom, 1pt Everton), possibly more - is that an unreasonable expectation?

I think that the International break makes it seem like we are further into the season than we are. 2 pts from 5 games is certainly not ideal, but nowhere near panic mode. I also think that some of the signings may have raised expectations that we would walk the league. I always knew we were going to have to fight our way out of the bottom first.

Isn't the beauty of the game the fact that we may well lose to West Ham and beat Arsenal

We beat Arsenal at home and were a touch unlucky not to pick something up from the game ar the Emirates last season - still say the league hasn't settled down yet and maybe a few teams who have more points than us who have had easier fixtures which they should have got more from.

Exactly. Like Villa, who have 2 more points than us but have played no one, who last year, were in the top five.

Around this time last season we had wandered up into 8th? in the table but still a way behind Wolves. Remind me again how that panned out. Look at Swancelonas start and how they are doing more recently. Only a fool or a DQPR supporter would read too much into it.

First thing I checked this morning; to see if he had posted. No-one seems to know him personally either. Crying or Very sad
