Lennon at Celtic is another example of someone on the verge of the sack ,who has come good.
On reflection ,after thinking I would happily see MH sacked after Monday night,I think we should stick with him for the season ,no matter what happens. If he can get Blackburn into the top 10 for three years in a row, with the resources he now has ,he surely can repeat the trick here. |

For a cheap option how about Di Caneo. He's a bit like an Italian version of Ian Holloway, just a bit more mental. _________________ Champions Of Europe 0 Kings Of West London 1 |

Cheaper than what though?
Paying off MH and his team and then paying Di Canio and his team to come in is hardly cheap. |

I also wonder how closely Mike Rigg's tenure is linked to MH keeping his job?
Would 'Arry or A N Other want an appointment such as Rigg foisted upon them?
I thought this 'project' was all about building for the future? |

| There seem a lot of people on that list, apart from Moyles, who don't hang about at a club for very long (mind you the same could be said of Hughes I suppose) do we really want a flibbertigibbert as manager? |

To be fair, Moyles only quit because he got a bígger job.

What about celebrity guest managers? A different manager every week – some from the football world & some from other walks of life? Then award a cash prize to the charity of the winner’s choice - that being who-ever has the biggest win. Then maybe a forfeit for whoever gets the worst result. I’m sure Channel 5 would televise this sort of thing - let’s face it, it couldn’t be any duller than their current programme about the scousers.
The club could get extra TV revenue over & above the SKY money.
The jerkers of the knee get their wish of the manager being sacked after a defeat.
I'm sure there's many nore plusses. _________________ Football Forums: The same old W**kers moaning about the same old Sh*t |

Why limit it to celebrities ? This board and others are full of folk who talk the talk about how simple it is to win football matches. Put 'em to the test I say. Let see who really knows a tactic from a tic-tac. _________________ In every dream home, a heartache. |

Let's stick with Hughes - he'll turn this around.
My choice for a replacement, if I had to choose one?... I'd be in favour of the English Paolo Di Canio - step forward Mr Ian Holloway esq. Good times at HQ. Good times. _________________ Nutmegs, I prefer. |

You can't sing "H's Blue and White Army" plus it would be mispronounced and spelt as Haitch or Aitch and that's just too annoying.
We could always go for Homer if for no other reason than we'd get Damien Duff. |
So you don't want to sing Aitch but you'd be prepared to sing Omer? |
We could sing "Homer, Homer give us a wave" just after we've sung "We Are The Rent Boys".
Surprised nobody has mentioned Gary Neville as a replacement. However, there could be confusion when we sing "Neville, Neville give us a wave" and his Dad stands up. _________________ If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation. |
