Never really did rate him as a player to be honest...
Hope you gave him some stick for it though Paula, even if he is named after a whole QPR side _________________ Isle Of Wight R'ssssssssss |

I was working the bar after the game and while I was serving him I asked if it was true about his middle names and he says 'what's it got to do with you' in a really aggressive way. Knobhead. Anyway, he was leaning on the bar talking to Alan Knight (ex Portsmouth, so far up his own) and I read the Charlie Oatway section in the programme out loud to the other girl on the bar - 'Oh look at this for a glittering career, Brentford, Cardiff, Torquay, Lincoln and Brighton'.... If looks could kill. _________________ RIP Ray Jones 1988-2007

Always my pleasure!
BTW - did you read my article over on Vital on the Kit Sponsors Evening? I had a wicked time - really enjoyed myself - and even learnt some Portuguese in honour of what looks now to be our soon-departed manager!
Hope you're keeping well - and forget Oatway - what a p*****r! |

Just wanted to say what a fantastic read that was.
I saw your user name here, and wondered if it was the same as the one over on Vital.
Thanks very much, it was a great read _________________ Isle Of Wight R'ssssssssss |

Thanks, SM - I'm really glad you enjoyed the article - hope as much as I did the evening?!
I decided to be a little less subtle on this site - and QPR Report!! But I am indeed one & the same person |

I've just read it, fantastic report - and great to read about Connolly, he seems so switched on and passionate! _________________ RIP Ray Jones 1988-2007

Incredibly switched on and very, very passionate.
He kept jumping up to make a point and smiling - a really great bloke! I was so impressed and my only regret was I had to stop talking to him so he could sign things for other people!
I'll tell you who else is passionate - Gareth Ainsworth. He really, really does love our Club. He is true blue n white that man - and an incredibly proud Dad.
It was so weird talking to him like I would've chatted to my sister about putting her son on the " step"! He's not supposed to be "normal" like us, is he |
