A potentially decent signing IMO if true.

He's a very good player.

Could do far worse than signing him. Have to say I have never felt confident we would sign Clyne, so it's possible there is some foundation in this...

His mother and father were both sprinters - think they both ran for England!

Thus, he will be well equipped athletically for football at any level.

he is quick but his distribution is pretty poor that's why he never made the grade at Arsenal.

SM - Clyne is a left back and Hoyte is a right back.

But they play Hill at left back? Surely a typo or something?

I offered Justin to the club when Ian Hollaway was here, as well as Nicholas Bednar would you believe that Tim Breaker said Nicholas isn't good enough for us....maybe you would
These would have been loans with the opportunity to buy

They would have been fantastic signings for us back then. Hoyte was really highly rated at Arsenal once upon a time...

Matt Conolley was highly rated at Arsenal.Jay Simpson was and still is rated by Arsenal fans. There is a guy at Donaster Jay Emmanuel?? Highly rated but is bit of prima donna.

Arsenal do produce some good youngsters, but they do not seem to break into their starting XI.

I always though Hoyte would be a decent CCC player that could improve given time.Maybe he doesn't like living in Boro?
