The latest revelations are incredibly damming for both News International and the Metropolitan police.

Its clear that the relationship between News International and the Met has been and continues to be far too close.

Can we trust News International and the Met police to investigate themselves? I think we all know the answer to that.

So that leaves it up to our elected politicians who should be keeping these things in check but unfortunately for our country and our proud history of democracy it would appear that the Politicians with any clout are also in the hands of Mr Murdoch's empire.

This is one of the biggest scandals out there yet Mr Cameron's weak words speaks volumes.

Its one thing tapping the phones of celebrities but its a whole new level tapping the phone of Milly Dowler after she went missing , an outrageous affront.

Andy Coulson was forced to resign as Camerons media man recently , but how on earth did he get to that position?

Those looking for a conspiracy do not need to look very far! Its clear Murdochs reach is far and wide and incredibly powerful , with the Met and our PM on side what hope do we have of any change taking place any time soon ?

Bazza no , the Met yes... evidently there are corrupt elements that are in bed with Murdoch this cannot be denied.

I'd almost forgotten it was there. I'll ignore your first silly question. But I got the avatar during the 'will we have points deducted?' palaver. There were some on here practically wetting themselves with the idea that the Sun hates us.

The Sun does have an agenda. But they hardly hide it. Not like the arse-wipe that is the Guardian. That really is a middle-class, new Labour, Hoxtonian bucket of toss. Mike Selvey is good, mind.
