Sorry Dad,

I got done over in the Loft just like everyone else... difference is I'm 30 years older now and happy I can take my young son safely to football these days...

What about Arsenal, Tottenham et al.... they were just as bad... they took the Loft as well and gave any dissenters a good going over!

Forget the pigging past (it's history now) and think about OUR clubs FUTURE instead!

They didn't get it all their own way that day; one ran up the terracing to take a swing at me and as he swung my mate Chris tripped him and he face planted the concrete. Very Happy I do hope he was OK *fingers crossed emoticon. Does anyone remember the one that a copper on horseback outside in the Loftus Rd. was holding up by the collar of his shirt about 3 feet off the ground for a few minutes before he wriggled free and landed on his neck and shoulder and staggered off looking quite hurt. Twisted Evil

This bizarre intense hatred for all things Chelski that some of our fans have is beyond me, it really is...

The envy seemingly shown of the silverware gained since RA's takeover that is derided as "bought" and not earned fairly....

Yet when T&C wandered in to town, the self same fans wanted us to BUY the same silverware instead, flash the cash and the "WE'RE RICHER THAN YOU" banners at the bridge in 2008....

NO.... I MUCH MORE CARE ABOUT THIS CLUB AND IT'S FUTURE....

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
You weren't there in the day then.

The only reason I survived our encounters with them, was that I knew a lot of Chelsea supporters - and knew how to spot them Smile

I can only recall Chelsea and West Ham "owning" the Loft. Spurs and Arsenal were usually well represented at LR, but they weren't there to kick the shite out of anyone in an R's scarf - unlike the the two I mentioned.

When we beat West Ham 6 1 in the League Cup they owned the Loft...ans Sheperds Bush...and the rest of West London....made em rather cross that night....probably right about Spurs and Arse but they were always there in numbers....Chelsea was always the worst tho....had to get on the pitch one year to....erm...well....form an orderly retreat! It was never safe until I got home and locked and double bolted the back door and pulled down the shutters!

Well, lose the replay, and lose to Napoli in the Champions League, and you might find Roman has a different interpretation of the term 'unconditional support' to you.

If I were him I'd be looking for another job now.

While remembering the tradional Russian ways of removing those that have previously had "unconditional support" have tended to involve metal (radioactive, fast moving or heavy and toxic).

4th round replay.... was there as well

Went to the first match at Upton Park and watched Phil Parkes pull off a point blank range save to keep us in the tie.... best keeper we ever had!

We faced Cloughy's Forest at home in the 5th round and had two replays at the city ground before finally succumbing to them...

I stand corrected...FA Cup it was...went to the Forest games as well...wasn't that the time Cloughie slapped a fan? Or am I getting my miserable matches at the Forest ground mixed up?

That was the night Brian Law was played at right back and Franz Carr destroyed him. I don't think he ever recovered from being schooled like that. I think a copy of AKTURS appeared soon after witha pic on the front of Clughie slapping the fan and the heading "The fan hitting the shit" or somethng similar.
