That news makes me feel old.My Post Office team played against the Newcastle United youth team in 1989,and he was just a young spotty kid then.
We lost 14-0,and only got out of our own half twice.Unfortunately I was in goal for 12 of them, but I then managed to save one and suffered a fractured wrist as a result.
Is it too late to put in a claim?
Luckily I got 7 weeks off on full pay. |

And if Jordan Rhodes is as good as some claim he is, how much must the manager have been getting wrong to have kept them out of the automatic promotion places? |
I suppose it is the same as Adel keeping Colin in a job last season. Without his goals and assists I am sure he would have been going through the revolving door a lot earlier whilst the Axis of Evil was running the club. _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

| This is his 4th season in charge his finished 9th,lost in the playoff semi final & final, currently sit outside an automatic place & have the highest wage bill in the division infact there are reports that they are paying bigger wages than a lot of Championship sides. they are a one man team without Rhodes they would be mid table (Rhodes you would imagine will be gone in the summer) so it's now or never for Huddersfield, so i can fully understand why they have let him go especially with the likes of Grayson,Warnock,Bruce etc on the market. |

The son of a friend of a friend just signed for them although loaned back to Falkirk until the end of the season. He had offers from Championship sides too, so you could be right regarding wages.
I reckon Grayson will get the job |

Funnily enough I heard two Huddersfield fans on 606 tonight saying much the same, and they seemed to think that the vast majority of Town fans (including the owner obviously) felt that he should have got them up by now.
Also left Rhodes on the bench for the Playoff final, which I hadnt realised.
The fans were aware that most of the country felt it was a crazy decision to sack him, but having drawn about 13 games this season they think a change may be the only thing that can get them promoted this year.
They were hoping for Warnock, not happy that he is now down the road at their bitter rivals! |
