Only qpr related in that they are our arch enemies, but ok.

Abramovich had better get that 20m compensation he has to pay ready Shocked to add to the 13.3m he already paid to porto to bring him here, and the 150k per week he pays in wages... which by my calcs would make AVB probably the most expensive manager per premiership win in the history of all things, at about £3m per premiership game won (if they sack him)!!

Definitely qpr related as we started the slide!

Before our game they had lost once (utd away?) and avb was the second coming.

Since then they have fallen apart.

And we've gone on to storm the league. I'm all for seeing Chelsea's season crumble since that game, but it seems like they're not the only ones who've suffered as a result.

Question: defeat in that game followed by wins over Wolves, Norwich, Blackburn, or win that one and lose all of those?

I know what I would have picked.

i wouldn't mind falling apart to a top 5 finish and last 16 of the champions league, probably win the fa cup as well. It was great though playing a role in the end of the Terry, Drogba era

I understand your point. However if we lost that game we wouldn't have definitely won the three you mentioned, so it seems a little silly to wonder.

All we know are the facts, that we have beaten Chelsea and struggled. If you want to find a crumb of comfort in our failings so far, its that we have (to their relative standards) taken Chelsea down a peg or two along the way.

AVB (Andre Village Idiot to his friends) is a poor man's Jose Mourinho. It appears he's 'lost' the dressing room, and therefore he's a dead man walking.

Throw in the fact that Chelski will probably fail to win any silverware this season, and I think it's a case of when not if.

The only thing 'protecting him' at the moment is the massive amount of money Chelski paid to secure his services, and the even bigger amount of money he would receive in compensation if they sack him (nice work if you can get it.)

However ... it's not AVB's fault, it is Roman Abramovich's fault! He should never have sacked Mourinho (a simple clash of egos) and now he's paying the price, much to the amusement of every QPR fan in the entire world.

This little drama is there JUST for our amusement, it's cost millions of pounds to stage, so my fellow R's, sit back, put your feet up and ....

ENJOY!

For me that Chelsea game has not been worth all the aggro that has followed. I feel the Ferdinand/Terry affair has been as much a distraction to us as it has been to them? It's been a constant cloud in the background in my opinion, whether it's affected our form is anyone's guess? What is certain is we haven't been very good since that streaky win.

like

What really gets me is the posts with "AT LEAST WE BEAT THE SCUM" and we've destroyed their season* doesn't matter to me if we go down now..

Well sorry it effing well does to me!

COME BACK NEXT SEASON when we are playing in the Championship and you seemingly have got what you want....

A really BIG team funny enough called Rangers with a lot more fans than us has been flying to close to the sun with their spending. I fear for OUR smaller club if relegation becomes a reality...

* Have we actually destroyed their season?

I remember god knows how many on here and elsewhere dancing on the Chelski grave when Scolari was still in charge.... They won ANOTHER bloody trophy by the end of that season... and they are still in the FA Cup this year which is more than us!

rant over!

I was just trying to be polite Systemsguy, but my sentiments are similar to yours! Like I said, you can never tell whether something is a contributing factor to form or not, but any form of distraction I would argue doesn't help. We only to have to look back to what happened with Faurlin last year, and the way we limped over the line if an example is needed.

As for Chelsea, like most on here I have a deep dislike for them, however, they are still light years ahead of us, and who do you think will have the last laugh if we do go down?!

Possibly even relegated at Stamford Bridge?

How sickening would that be?

As they possibly march (yet again) towards another Cup Final...

I agree, as much as I'd love to see Chelsea continue their decline I will not be able to enjoy it unless we are safe. So, fingers crossed that we avoid relegation, Chelsea will be kind enough to continue this form into next season, and Cardiff do not get promoted and I will be a happy man!!

The Russian will just keep throwing money at any mini-crisis that appears. Will ours? Let's hope so.

At least we are two heartbeats away from disaster compared to one?

I wonder if Mrs A. loves Chelski as much as Roman?

Jim Gregory's sons apparently hated this club!

In the sub standard tonight it says that the scum players are undermining AVB by still texting Mourinho, perhaps this is why everyone tolerates Joey's twittering as at least everyone knows whats being said.
As for laughing at our south london near neighbours, its funny, stop pissing on everyones fireworks will you.
