...don't need too much technology...sensor on the posts/bar and inside the ball...
Just do as rugby does....allow the 4th official to watch the TV images and the replays....and get a better decision in case ....
Give him something to do instead of raising only that board....

I watched the rugby today,and the referee was even more biased than the average football ref.He showed an England player a yellow card after allowing the French player to commit the same offence and get away scot free.

Does having efficient officials count as techology.

Despite having the same TV pressure. slo-mo replays and teams of pundits analysing everything, RU and RL officials seem to make far fewer mistakes than their football equivalents.

I wonder if the technology will be given as much abuse as the refs are when the players don't like the decisions. I can see JT having a few run-ins with the goal-line cameras Wink
