I'm just reading one of their forums literally nearly every post is about us. They are bringing a banner and posters with 6-0 on it.

I'm sure we'll have fans bringing banners etc if we beat anyone 6-0!
Don't we still go about beating Chelsea 6-0 about 6558837 years ago? |

Jol is a miserable git. He won't be interested in entertainment.
My theory is that because his name is like the start of "jolly" people think he's a fun guy. He's not.
If they win the toss they'll change ends. Play the game backwards.

... and his first name rhymes with fartin' which always makes people laugh. He has been created as the antithesis of all fun. QED _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

They used to be a decent proper London football club.
Real shame how they've ended up. |

Don, to be honest we are still far more 'grass roots' then Fukham and their supporters. I was dealing with a chap early last year who was a 'Fukham supporter', claimed he had supported them all his life, and started going when Fayed bought the club. He is 39 years old! To me they are the PL equivalent of MK Dons, attracts casual and floating supporters, and in Fukham's case bucket loads of tourists, but when it comes to away games, well take a look at a few of these piccies!

And then of course you have this stuck in one corner of the ground!
Now Fukham supporters will claim that having spent 10+ years in the PL going to all of these away grounds, the 'novelty' begins to wear thin as does the numbers attending, but to be frank, I have never been to a QPR away game, either in the PL, the NPC or the old Division Two (League One), where the support was so small. Even when we were shite in the NPC and the club was in major financial problems, places like Ashton Gate you would see 1,600 turn up. And even at the bleakest of northern outposts such as Burnley you would always get 4-500 turn up. Fact is most of Fukham's support are not dyed in the wool supporters, they don't get too excited when they win and not too down when they lose and are probably more intent in watching the likes of ManUre at Craven Cottage when they come to town as opposed on concerntrating on their own side. Indeed a sad reflection of football supporters today, but I think that QPR supporters are still a million miles away from that kind of tragedy. |

Give it a few more years in this division and the similarity between the two clubs could be, well similar! _________________ "I have always thought in the back of my mind cheese and onions". |

I'm with you there, DW, but that is the direction on which Tango and Cash were taking us. And Fulham do have a hard-core of grass-roots fans; it's just there's now that many of them. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

Inverted snobbery is still snobbery. Although I do presume you were being ironic. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |
