Latest betting odds have Andy Johnson 4/11 to join QPR he is 12/1 & bigger to join anybody else, Likewise Moses 7/4 to join the RRR'S & 5/1 upwards to join any other team, Unfortunately there is a list as long as your arm for Hoilett & we're not on it.

Rather worrying that we are such strong favs to sign Johnson not for me folks best days behind him like Bobby Z & SWP, i dont want us to turn into a shelter for over the hill players.

Lets face it if we play with 2 strikers it's more than likely going to be a target man & Cisse or just Zamora on his own & if we need a little jack russell to come on we have DJ so i doubt Johnson would get a look in really, waste of time if you ask me.

Are these the same betting companies that gave odds on Rob Hulse scoring for us in recent weeks? Laughing

Moses would be great. He's like SWP when he was good.

I believe we were massive odds on to sign a number of players last season - and we signed exactly none of them.

False market - best not to worry about it...you'll froth yourself up into a frenzy if you follow the betting on transfers.

Even what we're paying it's not going to be anywhere near what Moses might get at Chelski if he goes there. Depends whether he wants to play regularly, he won't if he goes there.

Yet fulham's record in his time with them has been pretty good.

Curious eh?

Hope Andy Johnson comes in and does well for the team/squad.

I can understand the point of view of us shelling out wages for players, especially those coming in whilst Flavio, Bernie and Gianni were here but, surely we are paying near enough the going rate for wages, and in terms of the last 3 signings, no transfer fees as such (barring rob green's signing on fee).

Nelsen is on a 1 year deal, Johnson 2 years and Green probably longer as a keeper. Seems to be a fairly sensible approach to me as these players should be an improvement on those players released from our squad, with no transfer fees spent.

It would seem reasonable to wait and judge Hughes on the signings once he has finished assembling tbe squad.
