Robert Green is set to join QPR after agreeing a £50,000-a-week deal to move across London.
The England goalkeeper, 32, is a free agent after West Ham refused to meet his pay demands and failed to agree a new contract.
On the move: England goalkeeper Rob Green looks set to sign for QPR
QPR are anxious to bolster their defence after narrowly avoiding relegation last season and opted for Green after briefly considering Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
The current No 1 at Loftus Road, Paddy Kenny, looks likely to re-join former boss Neil Warnock at Leeds United.

Good goalie. And whereas a couple of years ago it was absurd to be singing "England's number one" we can be quite happy about "England's number two". Although maybe it could be taken the wrong way.
And in the spirit of showing salaries in the same way as for the rest of us, I make that £2,600,000 per year. Or the same price as Rblockell's pad in Docklands. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

Apart from the last bit. Would be better to read less from the Daily Mail, not more! _________________
