And definitely not Pareggio, despite a number of fans singing that as his name at the time.

some of our fans still call Taarabt "Tarbot" and he's been here several years so I wouldn't expect them to master the soft 'j' in a Spaniards surname or even get a hard 'j' in the correct part of any kind of pronunciation for that matter.

Real Madrid Castilla are in the 3rd tier of Spanish football, Morata is 6'3 and will be 20 during next season. If the reports are true and he is looking for £30k a week, it sounds a lot of money to me.

If he came and was the business, then this is Mike Rigg really pulling one out of the bag!

Spanish for w***ker. Honestly! Hence Mitsubishi hastily renaming the Pajero.

6' 3" AT 20?

He might still just be starting to come to terms with his gangliness and be just beginning to bulk up so could get a lot better (Crouch did)?

Or he might have shown up well as a tall youngster but older, wiser opponents know how to deal with such attibutes if they are all that's on offer?

All down to the scouts and MH then. IF he comes, we'll find out then.

Assuming gangliness Dave? Look at people like Jan Koller or Lewis Moody and Andrew Sheridan in rugby; hardly beanpoles! Rodney Marsh was no streak of piss either, albeit only 6'2". Wink

Bulk and muscle usually come with age and training. Along with stamina (obviously) angel . What were Koller, Moody and Sheridan like at 20?

And Marsh was a bit gangly as a teenager (but as you say, only 6' 2" so he doesn't count).

Don't know about Koller as he only appeared on my radar as an established player but the two rugby players would fit into the 'brick shithouse' category comfortably and Scotlands Richie Gray is 22 now but even when he broke into the team a few years ago he was around 19st and he is 6'9"

Shouldn't we be trying to sign him instead then? Very Happy

Might prove to be a blessing for him, he is hardly the best egg chaser I have seen during the six nations, bless him. Very Happy

I thought he did really well for them. Confused
