Agreed. BUT as always with QPR, he is only another reckless Red card or a run of defeats away from becoming the latest scapregoat.
Personally, I really hope him and Faurlin gel. |

Absolutely, and the true cost of Joey Barton's stupidity could come to be realised, if they do, Joey could find himself a bench warmer, or even surplus to requirements. Mind you some would say he is already. _________________ Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

So far so good wrt the R's close season. Slightly tinged with sadness as we deemed it not neccessary to sign Taiwo. I think he gave us an improving player with a very good threat at dead ball situations. He has a decent goal return for a defender. I wonder what happened as the player himself seemed very keen and enthusiastic when seen at games. _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

I think it's just that Hughes and Rigg have identified some better options and are confident of landing one of the them. I always felt that Diakite was the 'must have'.
Don't know what everyone else thinks, but we might now be in a position where the squad is good enough and it is now a case of the odd 1 or 2 who Hughes believes will be certain starters, left to come in. _________________ All or nothing! |

Someone better than Taiwo coming in would be very good indeed as I feel Taye was a certain starter when fit. Maybe his defensive abilities were not in keeping with the (generally) defensive set up Lonk appears to favour, especially away. _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

You're right, afterall Hughes kept us up, which was what he was signed to do, but in his tenure he is fully aware of just that 1 solitary away point! _________________ All or nothing! |
