Brother it's time you updated your copy of FIFA, still playing 2004 is seriously warping your world view.

His goalscoring record throughout his career speaks for itself! Wink

As do the state of his hamstrings.

There comes a time in a players career (especially a striker known for speed of movement) where the condition of his body becomes far more pertinent than the goals he scored 10 years ago.

Blimey, Bobby, you really are an ageist. I hope you don't treat your women like you do your football players. There are such things as MILF's you know and maybe Owen is a footballing equivalent of one.

Michael Owen's career stats

Liverpool (1996-2004): 297 games, 158 goals

Real Madrid (2004-05): 40 games, 14 goals

Newcastle (2005-09): 79 games, 30 goals

Man Utd (2009-12): 52 games, 17 goals

England (1998-2008): 89 caps, 40 goals

.So in England his percentage ratio has fallen from 53.2% at Liverpool to 38% at Newcastle and 32.7% at United. Ergo it's likely to fall below 30% at his next club

He could score 10-15 goals for us during an injury free season! Cool

That would require time travel.

During a season with an injury he could score 5-10 goals! Cool

No, but I'm pretty sure people would come to Loftus Road to see Michael Owen play, no matter what you may think of him! Cool

Actually I think you'll find that Kieron Dyer has been in the gym a LOT more than Michael Owen during the last few years! lol

Only because Dyer doesn't own any horses.

Mrs 1BH is well aware that if she doesn't pull her socks up this season and get into double figures I'm selling her to Palace. Or Shanghai.

That's right - I'm so much happier with the goal machines at the club like Zamora and AJ. What wouldn't I give for a 1 in 3 class act like Owen as Cisse's foil?
