dave f.. treats this board as if he was the headmaster at a primary school, always pulls everyone up on spelling, becomes very dull and predictable after a few days.. doesn't contribute to any discussion just picks wholes in other peoples posts.

I kind of like both Davef and Lejuge, but in the same way I like to bit the inside of my mouth. It's okay for a while then it wears a bit thin.
That said I still have an 87% preference for Davef.
Truth is most of us on here post for some sort of attention/recognition. I try to be humorous (and I had just genuinely type this word incorrectly twice as rumorous and numerous!), and sometimes confrontational. The most obvious exception to this generalisation is SM. Can't seem to stop the guy talking Rangers.
He's in my top 5 fav posters, along with John Honney, 'Tina, and Libertine. Still working on my other top 5 choice but Davef is a lot closer than lejuge.

i think i need a top 10. Don is an obvious choice for most posters (me included) in the fav category, so I tried to be alternative. EL is right up their in the "shadow of Don" but if it wasn't for the Hacking rasp he would be a shoe in for one top honours (maybe number 9).
It's a bit trite of me, but I do have favs, but it is sometimes much easier to name a bottom 5., so i shall try,
Westlife (but I have no idea really), Steps, Dave Clark, the Birmingham six, Steve Redgrave, Hawaii-oh?, Short Circuit, Mambo, Nitrogen, Der Blau...ooops, Blyton you bitch, Chanel, Fibanacci (so you learnt to count), in the pipe (by 5), Allan forking Lamb, Miguel Indurain and volvos.
But vying for favoritism in the top 5 poster stakes must be the scratchy arse tennis bird, oh and I like that Dunc bloke, and I still pine for SSB.

You can get nostalgic for old posters - like old bands - and remember them beingbetter than they actually were. Not so SSB. His contributions were excellent. Quantity and quality. Another poseter I miss is 'Aussie R'. He had an interesteing life, to say the least. Have look at: http://lachlanirvine.tripod.com/
Then of course there are those who threw a hissy fit or left on a matter of principle (depending on your standpoint) such as Hud, Sonic, Insom & Goofy.

For the record (and the evidence is on the record) I've picked you up on plenty of things other than your spelling. Choosing that one example is a pretty poor attempt to gain yourself some sympathy/support. As is mentioning your condition. Plenty on here are are bog-stupid but they don't go on about it They really don't care.
Not that it matters. I (with others) chose to comment on your personal dislike of Paladini and the attacks on him by you and others which led to attacks on me and others including (proveably ridiculous) accusations of me/us being in his pay. So I accept I'm never likely to get a Christmas card from you.
Think it through. I can hardly irritate you over the spelling thing (as you say, you've lived with dyslexia for a long time and no longer care) so why do you bother bringing it up? Though citing just how long ago it was I bothered mentioning your spelling would be interesting considering how long ago it was). Why not just have a try at being honest about what you really have against me? However hard it might feel. You'll feel better for it. Possibly. |
