Just saw on the offish that the Swansea game is sold out... despite having a ticket I went to the online ticketing page anyway, and there were still a handful available in SAR and X Block - so don't be put off, there still might be time.

Is the Lower Loft completely sold out? Yesterday there were 90 single seats (including my old seat) available plus another 22 adjacent to each other. Brave little children sitting on their own if so.

It keeps changing... but it's around 15. SAR and X Block keep changing from completely sold out to there being 4 or 5 available - so worth re-freshing the page if anyone is still after a ticket.

Fair play to the club if they have sold out (or are about to sell out) the Lower Loft.

I thought they would really struggle. I suppose we can only judge at the end of the season, but I'll admit I'm pleasantly surprised by that.

Just looked. 4 seats left in the whole ground. 3 in JL and 1 in HL.

Make that 5. One's appeared in V Block Ellerslie.

Gotta say I'm much less surprised SM when it's the first game of the season when everything's so positive.

The first real test will be an evening game - Mon 1st Oct vs Wet Spam. It's a school night and it's on TV. I suspect there'll be some empty seats then...

Yes, but the difficult part is the individual seats. There were always some remaining last season even for the high profile games. It'll be good if the club have found a way to sell them, and I hope it's not just people getting child tickets and letting them go to waste, as per the other thread.

I'd like to hear a fan's PoV first hand review of viagogo. How do you guarantee your seat's used by a genuine fan? What happens if someone causes trouble in your seat? What happens if someone causes trouble near you and the steward thinks it was the person in your seat (I.e you)?

There were loads of empty seats all over the ground for some televised games last season. It was mostly season tickets holders seats that were empty.
At least this year people can sell them back and allow them to be used again.
I still don't agree with the lower loft scheme though, and I think it has been handled very badly by the club.

13 tickets available today. All individual seats. 7 in Lower Loft and 6 in SAR.

By the way, one or two fans have used viagogo to buy seats for this game (so presumably a corresponding number have been sold by season tickets). I asked one of them what he had to do to prove he wasn't an away fan and he said all he needed to do was one mouse-click. Doesn't fill me with confidence.
